Nose Is For Breathing, Mouth Is For Eating

Important: the nose is for breathing, the mouth is for eating. 

As much as possible, breathe IN and OUT through your NOSE. 

I've spent the last two years studying breathing & will be sharing valuable bits of what I've learned here.

 One of the most important changes we can all make with our breathing everyday, during exercise and at rest is:

BREATHE IN AND OUT THROUGH YOUR NOSE ONLY.

As much as possible.

Why is nose breathing so important?

  • Increases oxygen intake by as much as 20%

  • Pathogens are more filtered from entering your body

  • Nitric oxide made and released =  vasodilation = increased circulation

  • Balances the nervous system = less anxiety, lower stress

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Improved respiratory problems, including asthma

  • Increased lung capacity = longer life
