Happiness

Happiness is an average.

It’s transitory, has different levels, and there are many different types of happiness. There's never simply one mode or size of experience to feel happy. There are specks and morsels and chunks and tons of happiness to find. Happiness might hit you over the head, or hint that it's with you like a whisper from a mile away. Or you might only know happiness afterit visited you, and you realize you were happy.

There’s never a chronic goal state called “happiness.”

With that in mind, doesn't “happiness,” as an average of being, seem more attainable?
