Seeing Beyond Circumstances

WHAT WE CAN SEE:

I think our main mission here on earth may be to learn to be happy despite our circumstances. 

To have the ability to see beyond our circumstances is the key. It's the key to recovery from any hardship, challenge, or suffering. 

I have been getting the sense that one of our core human tasks is to learn to SEE that we are NOT our outer circumstances. 

And when we see this, we feel true freedom. 

“Freedom” is to see that circumstances are not going to dictate one's happiness.

When we feel FREE, we do not feel stressed.

“Stress” is not an external event. A stressful event is something experienced internally.

Stress does not happen TO us. “Stress” is our response TO a circumstance. Stress is what builds up and has to be cleared out to reestablish mind-body connection. 

This is GREAT NEWS! Because this means we have the power to change our response to circumstances. 

I mean, that's really, really great news, right?? 

HOW CAN WE SEE THIS?

We have a better chance of seeing our power and freedom if we have a quiet mind, which goes hand-in-hand with having a healthy nervous system. We need to balance our nervous system, and this can be done in SECONDS.
